The pattern is by Villa Rosa and uses strip sets.  Take a look at the photo, look at the row underneath the top border and you will see that you are using strip sets of 3 fabrics that are then cut into rectangles and placed flipping the wide end from top to bottom so the solid purple middle piece looks like you have spent hours and hours piecing.  Strip the 3 fabrics, cut into 6.5" pieces, then randomly sew them together to create you rows, remembering to rotate from short to long sides.  You'll love this great looking pattern that is deceivingly easy.
